Subject: Online Training Module - Completing the 2018-2019 FISAP

Summary: This letter announces the availability of Federal Student Aid’s online training module that assists with completing the 2018-2019 FISAP, which includes the Fiscal Operations Report for 2016-2017 and the Application to Participate for 2018-2019.

Dear Colleague:

We are pleased to announce the availability of an online, self-paced training module that focuses on the Fiscal Operations Report for 2016-2017 and Application to Participate for 2018-2019 (FISAP). This FISAP is available on the eCampus-Based (eCB) website and must be submitted no later than September 29, 2017 by schools that participate in the Federal Perkins Loan Program, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) Program, and Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program. We will review the sections of the FISAP, identify changes made to the current FISAP, and discuss the most commonly made errors when completing the FISAP. The training is intended for individuals on the financial aid and business office staff who are responsible for completing the FISAP—especially those who are new to completing the FISAP.

The "Completing the 2018-2019 FISAP" training module is available on the Federal Student Aid E-Training website, located at https://fsatraining.info/login/.

To access the training, log in to Federal Student Aid E-Training with your username and password. After logging in, select “Training by Topics” from the main menu bar. From the drop-down menu that appears, choose "FISAP 2018-2019" and then select "Enroll Me" to launch the course.

Note: If you do not have a username and password for Federal Student Aid E-Training, click on "Create new account" on the home page and follow the instructions to create a username and password.

PDF versions of the current FISAP form and instructions are available in the References and Resources section of the “Completing the 2018-2019 FISAP” course. PDF versions of the current FISAP form and instructions are also available on the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) website at https://ifap.ed.gov/fisap-form-and-instructions/04-25-2017-subject-final-fisap-form-and-instructions-fisap-due.
