Subject: Webinar Recording - Gainful Employment: Reading Your Draft GE Debt-to-Earnings (D/E) Rates Files
Summary: This letter announces the availability of the recording of the "Reading Your Draft GE Debt-to-Earnings (D/E) Rates Files" webinar, one of two October 2016 webinars offered by Federal Student Aid about the draft Gainful Employment (GE) Debt-to-Earnings (D/E) rates.
Dear Colleague:
We are pleased to announce the availability of the recorded version of the Reading Your Draft GE Debt-to-Earnings (D/E) Rates Files webinar. This webinar focused on the GE Debt Measures Backup Data detail files, sent to institutions by NSLDS, that contain the data used to calculate draft D/E rates for GE programs. We described the various data fields on the detail files and discussed how to read and interpret the information that supports the calculation of the draft rates. We also discussed a standalone import tool and reader to assist institutions with reading their GE Debt Measures Backup Data detail files.
Federal Student Aid staff presented this webinar on October 18 and again on October 25, 2016. While the presentation for both sessions was the same, the questions received from participants were different; therefore, we are providing the recording and transcript for both sessions.
No registration is required to view the recorded training sessions.
