Summary: This letter announces the availability of the recording of a February 2016 webinar about the recently published cash management regulations.
Dear Colleague:
We are pleased to announce the availability of the recorded version of a recent webinar about the final cash management regulations that were published October 30, 2015, and which will become effective July 1, 2016. The regulations, in addition to other provisions that were covered in the webinar, establish tougher standards and greater transparency surrounding agreements between postsecondary institutions and other entities in the rapidly expanding college financial products marketplace.
Office of Postsecondary Education (OPE) staff presented this information twice in early February. We are providing the recording and transcript from the February 9th session. For more information about the webinar, refer to Dear Colleague Letter ANN-16-02.
