Summary: This letter announces the availability of Federal Student Aid's EDExpress Release 2.0 Online Training for 2014-2015. This self-paced online course provides step-by-step lessons on the software's Pell Grant module. The training also features an integrated glossary, video demonstrations of each lesson with printable materials to follow the demonstrations, and a desk reference guide.
Dear Colleague:
We are pleased to announce our release of the second module of EDExpress Online Training for 2014-2015, a Web-based training product that teaches users the basic skills needed to access and navigate the 2014-2015 EDExpress for Windows software. EDExpress Release 2.0 Online Training for 2014-2015 provides step-by-step lessons on the Federal Pell Grant (Pell Grant) software module. Features of the online training include an integrated glossary with common software terms, video demonstrations with accompanying PDF handouts, and a printable desk reference guide. This self-paced training is intended for financial aid office staff with day-to-day responsibilities that involve using the EDExpress software.
Note: Release 2.0 follows the Release 1.0 training, which we announced in ANN-14-12 and which includes training on the Global, App Express, and Packaging software modules. In the coming months we will announce the availability of the third training module in this series, which will focus on Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant and William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan (Direct Loan) functionality.
EDExpress Release 2.0 Online Training for 2014-2015 is available on the Federal Student Aid E-Training Web site, located at http://fsatraining.info.
To access the training, log in to Federal Student Aid E-Training with your username and password. After logging in, select the "EDExpress 2014-15" link from the home page and then select "Enroll Me" to launch the course.
Note: If you do not have a username and password for Federal Student Aid E-Training, click on "Create new account" on the home page and follow the instructions to create a username and password.
