Summary: This letter announces the newly updated FSA COACH for domestic schools, an introductory Web-based tutorial on federal student aid administration.

Dear Colleague:

We are pleased to announce the release of the updated edition of FSA COACH for domestic schools. This comprehensive and self-paced online course, written at an introductory level, has been fully updated for the 2013-2014 Award Year.

FSA COACH for domestic schools offers 33 lessons on federal student aid administration and provides more than 40 hours of instruction. The lessons can be completed individually or as a full course, allowing users to tailor the training to their specific needs. In addition, the lessons feature hyperlinks to other Federal Student Aid information and products, interactive exercises, review questions, and quizzes that help learners assess their mastery of the course material.

The updated FSA COACH for domestic schools is available on the Federal Student Aid E-Training Web site, located at http://fsatraining.info.

To access the training, log in to Federal Student Aid E-Training with your username and password. After logging in, point your cursor to "Basic Title IV Training" on the main menu bar. From the drop-down menu that appears, choose "FSA COACH" and then select "Enroll Me" to launch the course.

Note: If you do not have a username and password for Federal Student Aid E-Training, click on "Create new account" in the right-hand column on the home page and follow the instructions to create a username and password.

The course may also be accessed from the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) Web site at http://www.ifap.ed.gov/ifap/fsacoach.jsp.

Note: FSA COACH for foreign schools will be updated for the 2013-2014 Award Year in the future.
