Summary: This letter announces the availability of Federal Student Aid's EDExpress Release 2.0 Online Training for 2013-2014. This self-paced online course provides step-by-step lessons on Release 2.0 of the EDExpress software, which includes Pell Grant, TEACH Grant, and Direct Loan functionality. The training also features an integrated glossary, printable quick-step guides, and certificates of completion.

Dear Colleague:

We are pleased to announce our release of the second module of EDExpress Online Training for 2013-2014, a Web-based training product that teaches users the basic skills needed to access and navigate the 2013-2014 EDExpress for Windows software. EDExpress Release 2.0 Online Training for 2013-2014 provides step-by-step lessons on the software's Federal Pell Grant (Pell Grant), Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant, and William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan (Direct Loan) functionality. Features of the online training include an integrated glossary with common software terms, printable PDF quick-step guides, and learning assessments throughout the training that lead to a completion certificate for each software module. This self-paced training is intended for financial aid office staff with day-to-day responsibilities that involve using the EDExpress software.

EDExpress Release 2.0 Online Training for 2013-2014 is available on the Federal Student Aid E-Training Web site, located at http://fsatraining.info.

To access the training, log in to Federal Student Aid E-Training with your username and password. After logging in, point your cursor to “Systems and Software” on the main menu bar. From the drop-down menu that appears, choose "2013-14 EDExpress" and then select "Enroll Me" to launch the course.

Note: If you do not have a username and password for Federal Student Aid E-Training, click on "Create new account" in the right-hand column on the home page and follow the instructions to create a username and password.
