Dear Colleague:
We are pleased to announce instructor-led, online training that will provide Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI) with information on the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan (Direct Loan) Program reconciliation and program year closeout processes. This webinar, conducted entirely in Spanish, will include an overview of Direct Loan processing and recent regulatory changes, with an emphasis on the impact that efficient daily Direct Loan processing has on successful monthly reconciliation and year-end closeout activities. We will discuss school requirements and responsibilities, as well as Direct Loan reports, tools, and resources available to assist schools in reconciling and closing out in a timely manner.
This training is intended for financial aid and business office staff at Spanish-speaking institutions who have Direct Loan reconciliation and closeout responsiblities.
We will present this information in a 90 minute session offered on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. (ET) and again on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. (ET).
