Summary: This letter announces Federal Student Aid's release of full versions of EDExpress Online Training for 2011-2012 and Direct Loan Tools Online Training that are compliant with Section 508 of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Dear Colleague:
We are pleased to announce our release of full versions of EDExpress Online Training for 2011-2012 and Direct Loan Tools Online Training that are compliant with Section 508 of the Americans with Disabilities Act. This is the final release related to EDExpress Online Training for 2011-2012, a Web-based training product that teaches users the basic skills needed to access and navigate the 2011-2012 EDExpress and EDconnect software. It is also the final release for Direct Loan Tools Online Training, a Web-based training product that teaches users the basic skills needed to access and navigate the Direct Loan (DL) Tools software.
The Section 508-compliant versions are available on the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) Web site at http://ifap.ed.gov/edexpress/1112index.html. After navigating to this URL, users should select the Text Only Version for either training and follow the instructions for the installation of the necessary files to actively engage in the training.
