Subject: Training Workshops - Cancellation of Certain Regulatory Update 2011 Workshops Due to the Potential Government Closure
Summary: This letter announces that certain instructor-led, Regulatory Update 2011 training workshops will be cancelled due to the potential closure of the federal government. A contingency plan is in place to ensure all interested parties receive the training.
Dear Colleague:
We regret that due to the potential closure of the federal government and in consideration of trainer and participant travel arrangements, we must cancel the Regulatory Update 2011 training workshops scheduled for April 11-12, 2011.
In addition, training participants should assume that future workshops will be cancelled if a government shutdown is in effect. If possible, we will notify affected participants through our registration system.
We have a contingency plan in place to ensure everyone who wishes to participate in these training sessions will have an opportunity to do so, and we will provide details as soon as possible. Please monitor the Information for Financial Aid Professional (IFAP) Web site for communications about our contingency plan.
