Subject: Additional Sessions - Training Sessions Added in New York, Kansas City, and Boston for Regulatory Update 2011 Training Workshops

Summary: This letter announces that registration is now open for additional sessions for Federal Student Aid's Regulatory Update 2011 training workshops. Session have been added for the New York, Kansas City, and Boston regional training facilities.

Dear Colleague:

We are pleased to announce that we have added three additional sessions to our instructor-led, Regulatory Update 2011 training workshops, first described in Dear Colleague Letter ANN-11-01. In addition to the sites already open for registration, participants may now register for the following training workshops:

  • New York Regional Training Facility, March 10-11, 2011
  • Kansas City Regional Training Facility, March 31-April 1, 2011
  • Boston Regional Training Facility, April 26-27, 2011

To register for the training workshop, click on this link:

For more information about the training workshops, including complete registration information, please refer to Dear Colleague Letter ANN-11-01.

Important Reminder: Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that it is important to register for these workshops, rather than traveling to a workshop site and taking a chance that space will be available on a last-minute basis for unregistered persons. A workshop may be full, in which case there would not be room for non-registered persons. When a workshop is held in a federal regional office, security procedures will prevent non-registered persons from entering the facility.

We look forward to your participation in these instructor-led, training workshop opportunities. If you have questions about these training opportunities, please contact Jamie Malone at jamie.malone@ed.gov. If you have questions about registration, please contact FSA Registration at FSA Internet Registration@ed.gov or 202/377-3941.

Sincerely,

Jana Hernandes
