Subject: Live Internet Webinar - Direct Loan Questions and Answers
Summary: This letter announces Federal Student Aid's instructor-led, online training session that provides the financial aid community with answers to common questions about the transition to the Direct Loan Program.
Dear Colleague:
We are pleased to announce instructor-led, online training that will provide answers to common questions about the transition to the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan (Direct Loan) Program. The webinar is designed for financial aid administrators at schools currently transitioning to the Direct Loan Program.
Federal Student Aid staff will present this information in a 90-minute session offered on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 1:30 P.M. (ET) and once again on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. (ET).

Advance registration is required for this training and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Once registered, we will send an e-mail confirmation to the trainee. The trainee should retain this confirmation, as it contains important information, including linking and log in information for the Web site, and system test links.
PowerPoint slides will be available for each trainee to download after he or she signs in to the webinar. During the webinar, trainees will be able to ask questions electronically using their computers.
