Summary: This letter announces the availability of Federal Student Aid’s Electronic Cohort Default Rate Appeals (eCDR Appeals) Release 3.0 demonstration sessions.

Dear Colleague:

We are pleased to announce the availability of the electronic Cohort Default Rate Appeals (eCDR Appeals) demonstration sessions. We have refreshed the Incorrect Data Challenge demonstrations to reflect our implementation of eCDR Appeals Release 3.0 on February 8, 2010.

We recorded the eCDR Appeals demonstration sessions via Microsoft Office Live Meeting. We list each demonstration and provide its link below. These sessions will also be available on the eCDR Appeals Web site.

Notes:

  1. To view a demonstration session, it is not necessary to a user to enter a Recording Key. The user must simply enter his or her name and then click on the View Recording button.
  2. There are two versions of each demonstration session available for streaming or downloading. If a user wishes to view the Microsoft Office Live Meeting Replay version, he or she should install the Replay Wrapper available on the site.
  3. These sessions are not captioned. The eCDR Appeals User Guides provide complete instructions on using eCDR Appeals and are fully accessible. User Guides are available for the registration process, as well as the IDC, UDA and NDA processes. These User Guides can be found on the eCDR Appeals Web site.
