Dear Partner:

We are pleased to announce additional National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) Systems Overview training series. This instructor-led online training will focus on how NSLDS functions, NSLDS codes, various reporting features and how to access the system. Participants will also learn how to use NSLDS more accurately for research, through demonstrations of the system's screen.

This one hour and thirty minute session will be offered regularly beginning in June and running through December of 2007. Registration is required for these sessions; please click on the link below to choose the class that best fits your schedule

All classes will be conducted using Federal Student Aid's Distance Education system, which allows you to participate without leaving your desk. You will be provided with a link to the session when you register.

The NSLDS System Overview training module is aimed at Financial Aid Administrators with a beginning level of knowledge regarding student eligibility and the NSLDS system.

Each training session will be conducted by two federal trainers and will last approximately one hour and thirty minutes. During the session, you will be able to interact with the instructors using your computer's keyboard.

Because this is an on-line session, you will need to have a computer with an Internet connection and a separate phone line to access the audio portion of the training. Please click on the links below to determine if your system meets the requirements to access the session.

Participants will be required to download the training materials (training workbook) prior to the session. The download link will be provided in the registration confirmation.
