Dear Partner

We are pleased to announce the release of the newly updated edition of FSA COACH for Foreign Schools. This self-paced online course is written expressly for personnel at non-U.S. schools and has been fully updated for the 2006-07 award year, including Higher Education Reconciliation Act (HERA) requirements and exclusions. The course is available at http://www.ed.gov/offices/OSFAP/fsacoach/foreignschools/index.html.

FSA COACH for Foreign Schools offers 23 different lessons on FFEL program management at a beginner's level and takes about 30 hours to complete in its entirety. The course features live links to other FSA information and products, interactive exercises, review questions, and quizzes that help learners assess their mastery of the course material.

Designed for new financial aid personnel, FSA COACH for Foreign Schools is based on the highly popular domestic version of FSA COACH. We welcome your comments on FSA COACH for Foreign Schools and your suggestions about ways the course might be made even more useful to the financial aid community.

Sincerely,
