Correction to Dear Colleague Letter GEN-06-02, FP-06-01
Summary: The attachment to this letter is a corrected page 7 from the Dear Colleague Letter on changes made to the loan programs by the Higher Education Reconciliation Act of 2005, that was posted to IFAP on March 10, 2006.
Dear Colleague:
We have discovered an error on the loan limit chart that on page 7 of the enclosure to the Dear Colleague Letter that was posted to IFAP on March 10, 2006 (GEN-06-02, FP-06-01) on changes made to the loan programs by the Higher Education Reconciliation Act of 2005. Specifically, under the “Additional Unsub” column the original chart showed an amount of $10,500 instead of $5,000 for “3rd year & beyond undergraduate” and an amount of $6,625 instead of $4,000 for students enrolled in “preparatory coursework for enrollment in an undergraduate program”. The attachment to this letter is a corrected page that can replace the original page 7 of the enclosure to GEN-06-02, FP-06-01.
