New Web site for FSA publication orders: www.FSAPubs.org

Posted on 10-20-2005

Dear Partner:

We are pleased to announce the availability of FSA PUBS, our new Web site for publication orders [www.FSAPubs.org]. This system replaces the Bulk Publication Ordering System, and streamlines the ordering process for most FSA publications.

For the first time, most Direct Loan publications (including MPNs), the FAFSA, and the Student Guide can be ordered using the same Web site. In the future, we plan to add our suite of technical publications to this Web site, so that you will be able to order the FSA Handbook, the Blue Book, and the DL School Guide from the same Web site that you use to place bulk orders.

Publications can be viewed alphabetically from the FSAPubs Home Page by selecting "Browse Products." If you wish to place an order or check on previous orders, you can log in to the site using your school's eight-digit Office of Postsecondary Education ID (OPEID) number. (High schools, libraries, and nonprofit groups enter their Mailing List (ML) number.)

Once logged in, customers will be asked to validate their address. We use your school's official PEPS address as a primary address. However, you can specify a different address for receipt of shipments. The address validation process only occurs on the initial visit to www.FSAPubs.org.

Note that the validation process does not change a school's PEPS address. If your school's official mailing address has changed, you must notify the Department immediately by updating your school's application information at www.eligcert.ed.gov.

We hope you find the FSAPubs Web site easy to use. However, we believe there are always opportunities for improvement. As we continue to work on enhancements to this site, we welcome any feedback and suggestions for improving the Web site and the ordering process. Your comments may be submitted any time via e-mail [feedback@fsapubs.org].

We look forward to hearing from you and appreciate your patience and support as we all work together to meet the needs of your students.

Sincerely,

Kay Jacks
