Dear Partner:
We are pleased to announce our 2005-06 instructor-led online training in Application Processing with EDExpress and FAA Access to CPS On-line. This two-hour session will be offered from March until late June. Registration is required for these sessions; please click on the link http://www.register123.com/event/profile/web/index.cfm?PKwebID=0x11458afc5&varPage=info to choose the class that best fits your schedule. All classes will be conducted using the Department's Distance Education system which will allow you to participate without leaving your desk.
The Application Processing training module is aimed at intermediate/advanced level users of the EDExpress Software Suite and the FAA Access to CPS On-line module. This training is designed to improve the accuracy and efficiency of your institution's application processing and student eligibility determination. We will cover enhancements to both sets of software and focus on how these features impact your business processes. (Note: Beginning users should first complete the EDExpress Basics Training Module located at http://ifap.ed.gov/edexpress/index.htm.)
Each Application Processing Training session will be conducted by two federal trainers and will last 120 minutes. The sessions will provide hands-on exercises in using EDExpress, along with supplemental study materials that can be downloaded from the web. During the session, you will be able to interact with the instructors and classmates via telephone conference as well as ask questions using your computer's keyboard.
Because this is an on-line session, you will need to have a computer with an internet connection and a separate phone line to access the audio portion of the training. Please click on the links below to determine if your system meets the requirements to access the session.

The download link will be provided in the registration confirmation.
Classes are scheduled from mid-March through late June. Please check the registration page http://www.register123.com/event/profile/web/index.cfm?PKwebID=0x11458afc5&varPage=info for a list of classes. We will be offering a range of days and times to better accommodate your busy schedules.
