FSA University is pleased to announce a new satellite videoconference:

The FSA Application Processing System: What's New for 2003-04

When is the videoconference?

We will present this live program free of charge on October 24, 2002, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

What will the videoconference cover?

You will find out what's new for the 2003-04 processing cycle and be able to direct questions to a panel of experts from the Department of Education's Federal Student Aid office. Topics for the broadcast include:

  • Enhancements to FAA Access to the CPS Online¾become a power user of ED's newest Web application product for schools;
  • Changes to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA);
  • The simplified FAFSA on the Web¾for students who qualify for an Automatic Zero Expected Family Contribution (EFC) and the Simplified Needs Test
  • Improved electronic communications with students
  • The ED PIN
  • Changes and enhancements to the Renewal Application Process, the Student Aid Report (SAR), the Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR), and Data Matches
  • EDExpress Update

During the videoconference, we will provide a toll-free number for you to call in with questions, or you can FAX or e-mail questions to our subject-matter experts.

Is my school allowed to record the videoconference for later viewing?

Yes, please feel free to videotape this program, so you may view it at your convenience.
