SUMMARY: This action letter provides information about changes and enhancements we have made to our 2001-2002 electronic financial aid applications, including FAFSA on the Web, Renewal FAFSA on the Web, Corrections on the Web, the PIN Web Site, and FAFSA Express. This letter also introduces our newest financial aid application products: 2001-2002 Spanish FAFSA on the Web and Student Access on the Web.

Dear Partner:

We are pleased to announce the changes and enhancements we have made to our 2001-2002 electronic financial aid applications. Enclosure A of this letter summarizes these changes.

Many 2001-2002 enhancements were made based on suggestions from you and your colleagues, as well as from students and parents. As we continue our efforts to improve the application process, we strongly encourage you to share with us your ideas and suggestions for future enhancements.

Why You Should Read This Action Letter

This is the third and final letter in our 2001-2002 Delivery System Action Letter series. Enclosure A of this letter describes changes we are making to the following 2001-2002 electronic financial aid application products:

  • FAFSA on the Web
  • Renewal FAFSA on the
  • Web Corrections on the Web
  • PINs FAFSA Express

Enclosure A also introduces and describes our newest web application products: Spanish FAFSA on the Web and Student Access on the Web. Enclosure B of this letter is a copy of the 2001-2002 Question 35 Worksheet (drug eligibility worksheet).

The first 2001-2002 Delivery System Action Letter (Action Letter #3) is this series was posted to the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) web site in early November 2000 and covered changes to our EDESuite/EDExpress software.
