Is COD moving? No, but the majority of the schools have moved into the world of XML through the Common Record. They are considered Full Participants and are sending Pell and Direct Loan records in the same file. If you are thinking, "How can this happen?" you need to attend this session. Beginning in award year 2005-2006, all schools will have to submit both Pell and Direct Loan records using XML-Common Records, and become Full Participants.

In this session, you will learn the basics of COD and XML, along with helpful hints and lessons learned by other schools that have moved beyond. Be prepared to learn new terminology and take a test drive on the COD Web site. Brace yourself, as you go beyond...into the world of COD!
