Common Record: CommonLine, CR:C, allows for processing CommonLine data in an XML manner, utilizing the Common Record structure. Implementing CR:C offers an opportunity to provide streamlined efficient processes to schools and to the school software developers. This session will provide an overview of the CR:C process, a review of the key differences from CommonLine, a discussion on end-result processing, and most importantly, an update on where the FFEL and alternative loan community is with regard to implementation for the upcoming academic year. Attendees will also find out about upcoming training opportunities, where to find the documentation, and will learn about data transport protocols for CR:C.
