The session will provide an overview of the FSA Enterprise Data Strategy initiative and an update on progress. The purpose of the initiative is to define FSA's enterprise data vision and strategy for combining tools, techniques, and processes to handle its enterprise data needs. The strategy is being crafted in response to FSA's desire to deliver overall improvements in the areas of data quality and data consistency. FSA is also focused on its overall approach for streamlining and integrating systems to ensure that timely and accurate data are exchanged between its customers, partners, and compliance and oversight organizations. The strategy is comprised of several key components including the Routing ID (RID), Standard Student Identification Method (SSIM), further XML Framework definition, and Data Quality Assurance.
