RE: Draft 2003-2004 Renewal FAFSA Mockups
We are pleased to provide you with a draft copy dated 07/19/02 of the 2003-2004 Renewal FAFSA. The overall format has not changed from the 2002-2003 format. The order of the data elements is the same as the order on the 2003-2004 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We have, however, made the following enhancements:
- Increased "VA Benefits" field
- New "Date of Marital Status" field
- New e-mail address field
- Barcode with student's Name ID added to bottom of each page of application
- For students who were eligible for SNT or Auto Zero EFC in 2002-2003:
- Will pre-print answers to income questions
- Instruct applicant to update only if changed
- Strengthened "Housing Plans" wording to ensure students answer question
