3.0 FSA Partner Connect Transition FAQ

Browse frequently asked questions and answers regarding the 3.0 FSA Partner Connect transition.

This transition aims to make FSA Partner Connect the primary service for enrollment and user management, allowing partners to manage access to FSA services and exchange information via the Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG).

FSA will retire the SAIG Enrollment website on June 12, 2025. Users will be unable to access the site after this date.

Primary and/or Secondary Destination Point Administrators should make all enrollment and mailbox updates before June 12, 2025. General users do not need to take any action to maintain their current access or enrollment before the transition.

FSA Partner Connect will introduce several new features, including:

• Active Confirmation

• SAIG enrollment for accessing FSA systems and batch services

• An electronic signature process that eliminates the need for paper forms

• Online enrollment submission for foreign schools.

Partners must complete all necessary SAIG enrollment actions by June 12, 2025, to ensure their changes are processed before the transition.

Signature pages submitted after June 12, 2025, or incomplete forms, will not be processed. Any actions not finalized by this date must be completed through FSA Partner Connect after FSA’s implementation in July 2025.

• Until June 12, 2025: The FPS Help Desk will provide support for enrollment-related questions.

• After June 12, 2025: The FSA Partner and School Relations Center will assist with general inquiries regarding SAIG enrollment and help users prepare for the FSA Partner Connect release.

The FPS Help Desk will continue to address questions related to SAIG file transmissions, software, the FAFSA Processing System (FPS), EDExpress for Windows software, and Two-Factor Authentication (TFA) tokens.
