Subject: Direct Loans 101 Training On-line
Dear Partner,
We are pleased to announce that Direct Loans 101, a computer-based tutorial, is now available on-line for all schools interested in learning about the Direct Loan Program.
Direct Loans 101 is a free training program from the U. S. Department of Education's SFA University. It is an introductory course targeted at new Direct Loan schools, non-Direct Loan schools that are interested in learning more about the program, and school staff new to Direct Loan processes. The five-segment tutorial focuses on procedures for establishing the program and identifies the organizational elements required to administer the program. It includes a glossary of Direct Loan terms as well as a Direct Loan Program Directory with information on how to contact key Direct Loan staff.
You may download and install Direct Loans 101 on individual computers for self-paced learning. Complete download/install instructions and system requirements are available on the download site. You can access the download page directly at http://ifap.ed.gov/dl101, or via a link from IFAP or the Direct Loan web sites.
Thank you for your ongoing partnership in the Direct Loan program.
Sincerely,
Jane Holman
