2026-27 FAFSA Form Completion Data:
- 10,553,609 applications started
- 9,009,463 applications submitted
- 8,943,930 applications processed
- 8,793,598 applications processed without rejection
2026-27 FAFSA Institutional Student Information Records (ISIRs):
- 30,934,138 ISIRs sent to institutions of higher education
- 13,396,452 ISIRs sent to states
- 5,535 unique institutions
2026-27 FAFSA User Survey Results:
- 95% are satisfied with the FAFSA form
- 90% felt the FAFSA form took a reasonable time to complete
