2026-27 FAFSA Form Completion Data:
- 5,641,891 applications started
- 4,310,277 applications submitted
- 4,187,552 applications processed
- 4,082,088 applications processed without rejection
2026-27 FAFSA Institutional Student Information Records (ISIRs):
- 16,280,376 ISIRs sent to institutions of higher education
- 6,371,318 ISIRs sent to states
- 5,451 unique institutions
2026-27 FAFSA User Survey Results:
- 96% are satisfied with the FAFSA form
- 91% felt the FAFSA form took a reasonable time to complete
