2026-27 FAFSA Form Completion Data:
- 16,419,752 applications started
- 14,883,709 applications submitted
- 14,704,246 applications processed without rejection
2026-27 FAFSA Institutional Student Information Records (ISIRs):
- 58,278,522 ISIRs sent to institutions of higher education
- 26,802,960 ISIRs sent to states
- 5,988 unique institutions
2026-27 FAFSA User Survey Results:
- 95% are satisfied with the FAFSA form
- 90% felt the FAFSA form took a reasonable time to complete
